Richard Skasick, Vice President Production

Richard manages the daily activities on the production floor, the Supervisors, and coordinates the scheduling of projects for best use of time and efficiency. He began a career in aviation at Hawker Beechcraft as a cabinet technician. Employed at CAC since 1997, Richard received promotions to Lead, Supervisor, Assistant Plant Manager, and finally Plant Manager in 2011; he hasn’t been seen without a notebook and at least three pens on him since.

Born in West Covina, California, Richard graduated from Beebe High School in Central Arkansas where he was Senior Class President and excelled in football, track and tennis. Soon after graduation, Richard found a path more suited to him, the Army. Richard served his country for 7 years, reaching the rank of Sergeant. His tours of duty include: Ft. Hood, Texas; Ft. Dix, New Jersey; Germany; and Desert Storm. He received numerous recognitions and awards including 3 Army Commendations Medals, 3 Army Achievement Medals, Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Army Service Ribbon before receiving an honorable discharge in 1991.

 Richard is an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and golfer when time permits.  But his greatest joy is spending time with his family, his wife and his grand-daughter.
